The most straightforward and popular bet type — simply pick the team you think will win the match. Perfect for newcomers getting started with e-sports betting on RC88.
Bet on whether the underdog can cover the gap in strength with a given handicap. Offers better odds on the favoured team winning by a greater margin.
Place bets while the match is in progress — odds update in real time based on how the game is unfolding. Requires a deeper understanding of the game, but offers the highest-value opportunities.
Bet on whether a match will finish in the minimum number of maps or go all the way to the final map. Perfect for those who know each team's defensive strengths.
Bet on which individual player will be named MVP or post the best statistics in a match. In-depth knowledge of specific players is a major advantage for this bet type.
Place an early bet on the team you believe will win the entire tournament. Odds are higher than regular match betting because it covers the full run of the competition.
Combine multiple bet selections into a single slip to multiply your potential winnings. Every selection must be correct to win, but the payout can reach tens of times your original stake.
A special bet type for MLBB and Dota 2 – wager on which team will score First Blood or secure the first major objective on a given map.

Malaysia is one of the most active esports communities in Southeast Asia. From schoolkids grinding MLBB every evening at the cyber café to professionals representing the country on the international stage, esports has become a core part of Malaysian youth culture. RC88 understands this reality – which is why the RC88 Esports section is built specifically for Malaysian players who don't just enjoy watching esports matches, but also want to make their knowledge count with meaningful bets.
MLBB, or Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, remains the most-bet esports title among RC88 Malaysia members. This comes as no surprise given that MLBB is the most popular mobile game in Malaysia, with MPL Malaysia serving as the official national-level league followed by millions of fans. Each MPL Malaysia season delivers enough drama and upsets to draw in not only active players, but also those who simply want to show their support for a favourite team beyond just a retweet. At RC88, you can bet on every MPL Malaysia match – from the regular season all the way through to the emotionally charged grand final.
PUBG Mobile is another hugely popular title for betting on RC88. Unlike MLBB's smaller-team format, PUBG Mobile brings a different dimension through its battle royale structure — 16 teams on one map, where strategy and execution determine the final standings. PMSL SEA gathers the best teams in Southeast Asia, including several Malaysian sides, and the unique match format creates a wide range of exciting betting opportunities such as wagering on the first team to reach a certain placement, the team with the most kills, or the overall ranking winner.
For PC esports fans, RC88 also offers full coverage of Dota 2, CS2, Valorant and League of Legends. ESL One Kuala Lumpur puts Malaysia on the map as a world-class esports host nation – and RC88 ensures local fans can back their favourite teams with live bets placed right as the action unfolds at Axiata Arena. Watching a live match while tracking your bets on RC88 at the same time is a genuinely different experience from simply watching as a spectator.

One key advantage of esports betting over traditional sports is the sheer availability of information. In esports, virtually all match statistics, head-to-head records, team rosters, recent form and even full match replays are freely accessible online. A diligent bettor can make highly informed decisions – more so than is typically possible in most traditional sports. RC88 encourages members to put this knowledge to responsible use when placing bets in the Esports section.
Depositing to start betting in the RC88 Esports section is quick and straightforward. All major Malaysian payment methods are accepted – Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow or FPX via Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks. The minimum deposit is just RM 10 and funds are credited within 30 seconds – fast enough that you won't miss any pre-match bets you want to place before a game kicks off. The minimum bet in the Esports section is RM 2, making it very accessible for beginners who want to try things out without much risk.
All bets, personal data and financial transactions in the RC88 Esports section are protected with 256-bit SSL encryption. Your betting history is stored securely and transparently, accessible at any time from your account history. Your information is never shared with any third parties. Live or in-play betting is one of the most exciting features in the RC88 Esports section. While an MLBB or CS2 match is in progress, odds are updated in real time to reflect the current state of play. If your team is trailing 0-1 in a Bo3, their overall match-win odds may shift to a very attractive level – and if you believe they can stage a comeback, that's a great opportunity to get in at better value. Conversely, if the favoured team is comfortably ahead, their odds will shorten and you might consider backing the underdog at good value as a hedge.
Malaysia's esports community continues to grow at a rapid pace. More local companies are sponsoring teams, more streaming platforms are broadcasting matches in Bahasa Malaysia, and more young Malaysian talents are making their mark on the international stage. RC88 is a committed partner to this community – providing a safe, fair and easy-to-use betting platform for all Malaysian esports fans who want to add an extra layer of excitement to watching their favourite matches.
